A sperm bank recently revealed some of the preferences parents ask for in their possible children. They chose good looking for intelligent. Isn't that strange?

With me its smart, hands down. Most good looking people I've known were as dumb as a rock. They expected their looks to take them through life unscathed.....wrong!

It does seem strange that a parent would choose looks over intellegence. Is it possible that our society values looks so much that we would prefer to have less intellegent children as long as they are great looking?

Yeah, I think that's strange, too.

cant i have both.............oh waite i do , and funnie and stubborn ( i like that quality. He's a wee gem in my eyes he's the samartest and most gorgeous wee lad in the world. im sure every mum thinks that but its reaaaaalllllllyyyyy true with wee Lucien.

I did go shopping for live sperm (necassary for conception, at long last i descuvered where i was going wrong... duh... lol)well at lest the gent (donor) that would suplie it, we found handsom and smart.

After all that hard work my son looks like me, only prettier and probebly smarter, all you can do is hope for the best but who controls thes things anyway especilly genetiks. At the end of the day i'd take gladly what i was given. regardless of lookes. Intelligence is so greatly influenced by upbringing and culture anyway.
