This was in my email this morning and I wanted to share it with you:

I heard Bob Meaders, the head of this charitable organization, on C-span this morning. He and Cher are in DC promoting the charity which
upgrades the helmets of servicepersons serving in Iraq. This simple insert has saved many lives and is a simple safety precaution against
fragmentation devices. I was very impressed with Dr. Meaders and I even got a different perspective on Cher, who heard about this organization from her sister.

For any of you that have wanted to aid the troops in Iraq but didn't know what to do, this is something you may want to consider.

Thank you for your time and please consider reviewing the web site.

the website to help the troops is:

RIGHTON! SISTER CHATTY LADY! But my question is, why are we just now doing something? Didin't we know about the defects before? That's what scares me about the war. Our young men and women are getting killed and in cases like protective helmets, it may have been prevented.

I'm not using this forum to soundoff but why isn't somebody IN CHARGE aware of the HEMET DANGER???!!!

There's no excuse for our soldiers not having the best equipment that can be provided for them. We owe them that much.

My fourth grade claim to fame is barfing all over my desk during reading...but I still LOVE to read!!

Posture queen? Would you still get that award today (I ask as I sit hunched over my lap top)?

I hope I can remember to put this link for our soldiers in the next newsletter. Who wants to remind me?

I'll remind you Dotsie; you're already on my calendar to remind you of the Jammies review.

NEVER would I get posture queen today!! Remember when things like posture and handwriting were so important in school?

By the way, Bev, great link!
