chickadee Member Registered: 09/26/04 Posts: 3910 Loc: Alabama	Hi girls, I am here in Oklahoma surrounded by heavily laden trees...big trees. I have some huge old trees on the North, South and West of the property that are just feet from the house and I am concerned. One smaller one fell on the front of the house earlier(don't know the damage yet)and one very large branch just fell on our truck. We just stood in the doorway and watched... I need prayers to keep us and all Oklahoman's safe in our homes tonight. It's 5:00 AM and not a breath of wind...Thank God. It's kinda scary, all the cracking sounds as the glitter falls. Andria If I have covered up any posts, I'll have this one removed after the storm. Please get somewhere safer if you fear your trees...sounds like they've already done some damage. Too scary -- drove at 10mph and still skidded all over the place. She works in a children's hosp (of sorts) and they are having to move the children to a better building ( a bigger hospital). The generator has failed and the electricity and phones are down.
