CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE PIE

Ingredients:

1 4-serving size package fat-free, sugar-free, instant chocolate pudding mix.
1 & 3/4 cups fat free milk.
1 teaspoon vanilla.
1/2 of an 8-ounce package reduced-fat cream cheese, softened.
1/2 of an 8-ounce container frozen light whipped dessert topping, thawed.
1 6-ounce chocolate-flavor crumb pie shell.
1 cup frozen rasberries.
1 tablespoon grated semisweet chocolate.

Directions:

In a medium bowl prepare pudding mix according to package directions using the 1 & 3/4 cups milk. Stir in vanilla and set aside.
Place cream cheese in a large microwave safe bowl. Microwave, uncovered on 100% power (high) for 15 seconds; stir. microwave for 15 seconds more.
Beat cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed for 15 seconds.
Add half of the pudding mixture; beat until smooth. Add remaining pudding mixture, beat until smooth.
Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread mixture in pie shell. Chill for 4 hours or until set.
Top individual servings with remaining whipped topping, rasberries, and grated chocolate.

Makes ten servings.(Or me eating with a big spoon!)

You can substitute real ingredients, not fat free or sugar free if you choose to, I make it so diabetics can enjoy it too, without worry.

Chatty, you don't know this: when I was looking for a basic brownie recipe, I came here first. I don't cook, but my husband does, and I pass the recipes onto him. (One of the perks of his unemployment: he feeds me!) So although I don't comment on your recipes, I want you to know that they don't go unnoticed! Thanks for your contributions to foodies everywhere!

Why thank you ma'am! I know many of my recipes have been tried out by an assortment of lady cooks here and with great success too, I might add. If I didn't think they were looked at and/or used, I wouldn't bother posting them...

chatty, I'm still wondering if the cake with berries in it that you posted a couple weeks ago, can be made as a whole cake, or does it need to be made as several little ones? I want to make a whole cake with that recipe, but want to be sure it won't be a waste if I do. Thanks. I have the frozen berries already.

Double your ingredients in order to fill a cake pan, it works the same with the baking time awhile longer. Use a sharp knife to test the center to see if done to your satisfaction, if not bake until the knife blade comes out clean. Makes a delicious cake!
