Is. 40:31 A good promise to live by. Difficult to understand taken out of context, but applicable none the less.

Our Director of Music played that for the Benediction today on the piano. It alwys makes me a little misty eyed. We sang that at Mom's funeral. I like the lyrics at the end...and hold you in the palm of His hand. Sometimes I picture that. Me sitting in God's hand. Don't laugh. I know I'm way to big, but it's a comforting thought.

I have two religous paintings that I show for print sales, etc. One is callled "In God's Hand." The whole background is the sky with a transparent silhouette of God's Hand and a woman resting in it with her head propped on a cloud as a pillow inside His hand. She is very relaxed and at peace; safe and secure in His hand.
