Hi, fellow Boomers.

I have an inspirational article in an e-zine. It's called "Library Lad." I received a really sweet letter from the editor today. Really gave me a lift!

Here's the link if you want to check it out. It's an on-line magazine for writers:

http://www.upandp.net/

Thanks!

Donna

COngrats DOnna! Very nice article. I'm often reminded of the relational issues of God being my Father, by the relationships I have with my children.

I can see the bigger picture for them, but they can't. Know what I mean? We have a very good feel for the choices they should make, but they don't because they haven't lived enough yet to know better. Sound familiar?

Curious to know if you learned of Upandp from this site. Our queen has a column with them, the he said, she said. Have you seen that?

Glad to hear about all these acceptances. I think all these resolutions are paying off. [Razz]

Ask and you shall receive. Is it really that easy?

Donna,
I want to add my congrats to the list. I read your article and I loved it. It spoke to me and made me stop and realize that I am guilty of saying demanding prayers sometimes...like FIX IT!

I really liked the part "expect the unexpected" when you pray. I think the more we study the Word and the more we pray, the more we understand and learn about TRULY turning our problems over to God and then trusting (faith) HIM to "fix it" in HIS timeframe...not ours. It has a calming effect on whatever the problem might be...and yes, at least for me Dots, I believe it IS that easy.

Very nice article, Donna. Too deep to read at one sitting, best when chewed slowly and thoughtfully, allowing the Holy Spirit to work.

Congratulations!
