Dotsie Founder Registered: 07/09/08 Posts: 23647 Loc: Maryland	I am not a fan of science fiction. Are you? Anyone heading out to see the new movie this weekend? My son saw it with some buddies at 12:01 AM on the 19th. First they watched Star Wars II here. Then they went to see the latest and greatest. He didn't get home until almost 3:00 on a school night. Have I lost my mind? Can you tell he's the third child?

We have all the movies on DVD and he watches them constantly. As for me, I "like" Star Wars and enjoy watching it on occasion. However, I'm more of a Matrix kind of person and really LOVE that movies series. But, my favorite Harrison Ford movies are the Indiana Jones series. Got those on DVD too. Mmm.

The past three Star Wars movies have all come out on May 19, 2 days before my birthday, so that's been my "birthday activity of choice" on those years. This year, I'm debating if I want to wait till Monday, because tomorrow (7 minutes till my birthday! YES!!) is the first weekend the film is showing, which means the theater will be jammed with a bazillion noisy kids. Monday matinee sounds a lot saner, but I think my husband is set on going tomorrow. We'll see.

I am sad that it's over. It's the end of a 25 year era. The characters had become like old friends, and it was sad to say goodbye to them. Thank goodness for DVDs.
