If you use:

Venus disposable Razors
Today's paper had a $2 off coupon - Walgreens has them on Sale for $5.99 - the $2 coupon $3.99 for a product appx $6.68 at our Wal-mart. Saving $2.68
With my 2 coupons I'll save $5.36

Air Effects air freshner. 2/$5 at Walgreens, sometimes $250-$2.98 at Walmart. Today's coupon from the paper BOGO, so in essence 3 or 4 for $5...I was lucky and got a double round of coupons. In my case, I'll get 4 air freshners for $5, $1.25 each for a normal cost of $2.50 each..Savings $5.00

Now what to do with that $10.36 savings on two normally purchased products...?

I love it when Sales and coupons show up at the same time.

Q, have you noticed the costs of razors and blades? It's outrageous, like $25.00 for a pack. I volunteered for homeless. I had stereotyped that homeless men had beards due to being unkempt, or simply not caring. I got a lesson that it is the cost of caring for oneself that prevents good grooming. That's why there are centers that help men and women get ready for job interviews. The Venus razors that claim to have shave cream in them already I found to be worthless.

PL, I like the Venus disposable razors, but if you know one better share the brand, please. More so if the price is less.

How commendable of your volunteer work.

I get my DH's razors at Sam's 52 razors 'Gillette Good News' his fav, $20.50

Remember, Wal-mart will match the competitor's price, no matter what it is. All you do is take the ad in from that store, like Walgreens, and show it to the cashier, then they honor that price.

Mom does that all the time if she is going to Wally World...

Hi Q, that's where we buy the razor blades, at Sams in bulk.

They do have a better price on razors, disposable & cartridges. Have you found any other Ture bargains at Sam's?
I've done the math a few times on things I really know & am not saving much more than the energy of carrying the item home from WM a few at a time more often, than having a bulk supply.

Sam's green peas in the 8pk of 16oz cans are a good deal.

I've thought of really getting serious & using a small notebook to jot down WM prices VS memory, of Sam's buys I consider so I can be certain it's a worth IT deal.

Anyone shop at Aldi's? I got their store brand of cornbread mix last week just to try & WOW it beats Jiffy all to heck.

I've shopped at an Aldi's in St Joseph MO and the aisles were not clean, and there were lots of dented cans. I wondered if Albi's buys the stuff other stores can't or won't sell? As for Sam's and Wal Mart, I actually would prefer NOT to buy there. I read a book titled "Nickel and Dimed" and one of the chapters is about what it is like to work for Wally. Not very good. So, I avoid Wal Mart, but shop at Sams. Same company. I am always shocked at the higher prices of items outside of Sams. As soon as Costco opens here, I'll make the switch. I do not know the culture of Costco, ie. if employees are better treated, but the chain does seem to have a better reputation.

I shop at Costco's and love it. A friend and I go together and split what we buy, thus savings all around!

JJ, have you ever read anything about the "culture" of Costco in terms of how the company treats its employees?
