In this the 21st Century, are there ways of coping that you would like to share with us? Ways that make your life and the life of others better, calmer, happier or more organized?
If you do, just post them in this forum. It would great information and help us all...

Thank you so much...

Toni

Toni all I can contribute here is that after most of my adult life has already gone by, I learned that holding things in is a terrible way to live, Now that I open up with my friends like Betty-boop and Emmy who know me better than most people ever will, I feel calmer, more at peace and less stressed knowing that I can get things off my chest, so to speak and they will love me no matter what. I feel the same here at Boomers. Less than a couple of years ago I wouldn't have joined this open mined and hearted group, I was so closed up inside BUT now that I can share it is so uplifting and enlightening to do so....I've always had alot to contribute just not the guts to open up until now... Charleen,

Thank you so much for your honest and open words! Like you, I don't often open up with others but in the last year or so, I feel more comfortable to do so. This group of caring and encouraging women has helped me to be more open and it feels good to express my feelings...I haven't done this for a long time.

You're so right about not holding grudges, it hurts the body and mind and accomplishes nothing. Letting go of anger and resentment helps so much; happiness and freedom step in and it feels so good, doesn't it?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts; it helps us all!

Toni

Just wanted to make a short note-please continue to send in your ideas on phobias, fears and anxieties. Even though the title forum can't be seen, it can be found when clicking on to Mental Illness.

Didn't know about this until now...Sometimes, I'm a little slow...

Anyway, keep those cards and letters.....
