I've done it all,
I jut can't remember it all!

I find myself saying, "You know what I mean!" more often these days because I can't seem to get the full thought out when needed...you know what I mean?

Glad to see someone finally read this post. Thought it was kind of cute for us all...at our ages.

Ah yes, 'senior moments,' I'm having them more frequently.....or maybe it's just 'pondering?'

I know, JJ, what you're thinking..."Who is she trying to kid?!"

Say, have you all noticed that SMILES hasn't been in the forums lately? Now I'm getting worried bout that gal. If she doesn't show up by tomorrow, we need to send the possee.

Not to worry your Majesty JJ, about our Smiles, shes managed to email Toni and I her diet and all about her adventures in flooring. She has really been busy with the remodeling and sounds too pooped to post, but I'm sure she will be back soon once the floor is in and she's finally able to take a deep breath....

This little story has a good moral about getting older....with age comes more wisdom (if you can remember what you were just saying!)

Swimming Hole

An old farmer had owned a large farm for years. He had a large pond in the back, fixed up nice; picnic tables, horseshoe courts, basketball court, etc.
The pond was properly shaped and fixed up for
swimming when it was built.
One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the pond, as he hadn't been there for a while, and look it over. As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee. As he came closer he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny dipping in his pond.
He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end of the pond.
One of the women shouted to him, "We're not coming out until you leave!"
The old man replied, "I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swim or make you get out of the pond naked. I only came to feed the alligator".

Moral: Old age and experience will always triumph over youth.

Lala, heard this one before and its still a hoot, reminds me of a couple old gentlemen I know. One step ahead of those youngins....
