Do any of you in different parts of the country have a Chucky Cheese Pizza restaurant in your state? Just curious how recognizable the name is.

Oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh....one of the noisiest places on God's green earth. I better get use to it though, I'll be taking the grandbeauties there in years to come.

Believe it or not, I use to take my own boys there for birthday parties.

It's actually Chuck E. Cheese! Yes, the mouse has a middle name...I don't even have one!
We don't have one here but I'm sure there is one in Denver. Had one in NY and JJ is right - VERY noisy. Pizza is expensive and not very good, but the kids love it there.

Yep.. my son was invited to his first (non relative)birthday party when he was about 2-1/2 or 3 (about 16/17 yrs ago) and it was held at a Chuck E. Cheese... yes.. I definitely remember the noise level was pretty loud... but the kids had a wonderful time.

I was glad when they increased security for leaving the building with a child...because mine always left kicking and screaming...who would know if they were being abducted...

And they still like to go there...but their husbands prefer more sophisticated spots!

Spent more than a few birthday parties there for my kids. My youngest was deathly afraid of Chucky Cheese (the creepy mouse character that would come out and greet the kids...) The pizza was awful if I remember correctly - too greasy. And, God knows how much I've shelled out for the games. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything either.

Just had a flashback to all those kids' birthday parties because "that's where everybody has their parties" was the yearly refrain! LOL I think the last Chuck E Cheese place I went to was back in the 80s in Pensacola. And I think there's one (or more) here in Tucson. Yes, they were noisy, and yes, the pizza was awful, but the kids enjoyed it and that's why we went.

We have Chuck E Cheese about 10 minutes from here. My daughter and her boyfriend just went a couple weeks ago to relive their childhood. She was thrilled to see the mouse again!
