Last night when coming home and into the park, I saw a car and in it were two people, man and woman. I got closer and saw it was Glenn. He looked in my direction and seemd to turn uncomfortably in his seat while pulling his hat down as if to try to avoid my seeing him. There was a woman in the car which was fine with me, heck, woho cares, none of my business? I told him NO strings or attachments right from the start, not interested...
I waved purposely, and right away I could see the woman asking him something while straining to get a good look at me. I was obliging and waved again while peering through my now open car window. That was for all the lies he tried to pass off on me.
When we met at the Christmas party, Glenn told me he lived with his cousin, an invalid.
When I got into the house I called a good friend who is the block caption of our neighborhood patrol and said, I need to talk to Glenn but didn't know his cousins name. He said, I don't know about any cousin but his wifes name is Cora and I have their number. I said, oops maybe later, someones at my door and hung up.
Guess you can't really think of this as a loss, all he got from me was one happy new years kiss. So as our dear Anne would say in another thread, "AND ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!"
Why are men such jackass's and liars? One good thing is I never planned on anything serious or even close to serious. I am too busy and don't trust any of these guys today, and it seems I am correct not to. I feel sorry for his wife though and wonder where she was on Christmas and NEW Years!

Glad you found out about it Chatty before it went any further. And good for you waving...it let him know you saw him.
