I read this verse recently and thought I would share it with you:

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the Chain will link again.

That is nice Chatty. I read it to my girlfriend, especially since today is the eve of her mother's sudden death. Two years ago, the morning after her birthday, she got a call from the hospital. It was her sisters screaming and crying and telling her that the doctors can not revive her 'supposedly' healthy mother. No warning at all.

Yes, this was real good for her.

Thanks for sharing.

Chatty, I read this on Thursday and tought it was so sweet of you to post this. It spoke to me. I'm grateful for the links being made for my MIL in heaven as I type. I have tons to share about this week, but am still a bit overwhelmed. It was extremely emotional. It is times like this that I am ever grateful for my faith journey. Praise the Lord!
