My hubby and I are doing a book study at our church with this book. Oh girls...it's another life changing book. I'm always for change, especially if it's for the best.

It's number five on the non-fiction best seller's list right now. I find this so refreshing because it's all about living the life that God has called us to. I've got to find out how many books have sold because if everyone is really reading this, our world should be a better place to live.

I find it exciting that one author can do so much to help change the human race.

A local church did this study as a congregation and people loved it.

A friend of ours gave it to our son for his high school graduation and he enjoys reading, but I must admit he hasn't picked this one up yet. When Hubby and I are through with it, I think we are going to bribe our son into reading it. I think college is a perfect time to read a book like this. Even if it doesn't all sink in, at least it gets the wheels turning!

Check it out at amazon or bn.

Candice, we just finished our second week with the book. Each day you read a chapter and at the end of the chapter you are given a point to ponder, a verse to remember, and a question to consider. The whole idea behind the book is that we are all on earth for a purpose. God has a plan for each and every one of us.

The book wakes you up to the fact that you are deeply loved by God and the closer you choose to walk with Him, be in relationship with Him, read His word, talk with, question, wrestle with Him... the more focused your life will be through Him. I am finding it to be like a love letter from God, a great read, an inspiration, a road map, and very energizing.

Jawjaw, what about you?

Sounds good. I think it would be great for you to do as a couple too.

Brought this topic back because I read that Donna is reading this book and I just finished it.

I'm psyched that it has been on the NY Times Best Seller List for so long because it is a very spiritual book.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband and I read it because we chose to do a class at church. It was fun to do this with him because most of our studies at church have been done at times other than Sunday morning and we have done them separately. Our church is attempting a new adult studies format.

Other than a family Bible study we did last year with our (then 15 year old) daughter, we haven't done classes together. So this was new and great.

Anyone want to know specifics, I'm happy to share...

Great book and it's changing the way I look at my life and my life's work. I'm enjoying reading the book and seeing what I've been doing that can be changed to be more in line with the will of God and not my wants.

Our church did a small group study of that book a little over a year ago. I loved the book and got a lot out of studying it.

I'm one for setting goals and killing myself to achieve them so it's not been easy for me to just 'be', but I'm getting much better at it. I'm learning (far too well perhaps) how 'not' to 'do' all the time and 'not' to fill up every moment with activity.

When I get over wrought, I'm learning to say, "In God's way, in god's time."

Great book.
