wow, look what I have to look forward to now that I'm single. LOL.

I've been thinking alot about the sex thing - knowing that at some point it will be an issue.

If a guy sees the incredible value I have...he'll wait - or he'll hit the road. No quickies in my future. LOL :0(

I heard on the news yesterday that 90% of Americans are having sex outside of marriage. That seems a little high in my estimation. Heck, rabbits don't even have sex that often!

50% seems more realistic. I know many people who are not dating anyone.

One of my friends asked me if I thought women could like sex as much as men. What do you think?

Dianne, great book idea for boomers. Don't you think?

One of the books I picked up at the Book Fair was, Been There, Done That, Kept the Jewelry. It was a fun book on being single. The author has a great sense of humor.

Danita, I love your attitude girl. You do have incredible value. I am grateful you've kept your self-esteem through this divorce. It's so important!

Daisy, that does sound high. I'd love to know where they got their information. It would be funny to hear how many people are having sex within marriage. HA!

OK,

I was trying to start a new topic - to no avail. Argh.

Here's a sensitive topic....

Do ALL men or MOST men look at pornography? Is it too much to ask for a man who doesn't?

Danita (she who is not afraid to ask hard questions. lol)

No Danita, not all men look at it but unfortunately its up there statistic wise to about 68% and thats realistic. Its not the ones just looking that make the trouble necessarily, its the ones mesmerized by it that begin to believe its real, the way they're life should be, the way their woman should look and act. There in lies the beginning of the end. At that point some men act on their presumptions either with constant masturbation to images in magazines or on sex sites, phone sex, even prostitutes. Nothing good has ever come from pornography....and

No its not too much to ask for a man that doesn't look at pornagraphy; but finding one is going to be a challenge.

You know from experience that being all you can be for your man doesn't always make a difference. Me too, been there, done that, lost that war.

SOME men look and No, it's not too much to ask. If you're looking for a man that is not interested in porn in any form, make sure he fits that category and don't accept anything less. He's out there Danita and wondering where he can find a good person...like you.

Anne, thats a good question....I wonder myself.

HIV among African-American women 50 and over is the highest among ALL groups. One of the reasons being African-American men on the "down low." It's downright disgusting!!!

IRT Pornography being psychologically addictive - from what I have read - it absolutely is.

It engages almost all of the senses and causes a "pathway" in the brain...VERY addictive.

Ya, I personally don't know for sure how realistic it is to ask for a guy who doesn't view pornography.

Pornography can be a door way to many other things!

Thanks Chick, I tell you - I am navigating new waters....and I have to believe that there are men out there that want the same thing that I want!
