Beautiful words, Val. I can relate to it all, especially the constant ricochetting between "exhausted from thrashing" for "MY LIFE" and "The Light" that calms and gently washes us up in that Perfect Place.

Val, beautiful poem! I also like what you said about being transparent. This is the perfect place to be that, don't you think? I know I have revealed my inner self many times here and it is always safe and affirming.

Yes I write poetry and other things. I am thus far unpublished but it is one of my dreams. This is my first poem in a very long time that is "free verse" in style. I usually write in sonnet form. Thank you for your kind words ,Rose.
