Congratulations, Bluebird. All the Golden Retrievers I've known were wonderful, sweet-natured doggies!

I would love to have a puppy. But my cat Cha-Cha would not understand, spoiled thing that she is!

Bluebird call 1-800-872-3773 and PETsMART will add you to their catalog list. Or go to www.petsmart.com
Now I order the puppy pads in the 100 count box. At their stores they cost $31.00 but in the catalog they are only $19.99 for exactlt the same thing. If you have a catalog however and go to the store with it in hand, they have to honor the catalog prices on ALL the items.....So glad we talked and you decided to wait for this new puppy, you won't regret it for sure, well maybe a little, ask Smile who is experiencing the "big three" puppy potty problems. Thanks, Chatty! I'm glad we talked, also, because now it feels so right. I know we'll be ready.
Going to go check out petsmart.com

Hello, this is wonderful, we all love pups and they all deserve wonderful homes, but please also considering adopting a rescued puppy. This country kills 20 million healthy dogs and cats a year because of no home. Puppies are frequently given up to animal control after unexpected litters from unsterilized strays or dogs are born. Over 50% of dogs that end up in animal control are pure breeds. Also, I read where there are tons of puppies and kittens being born to the dogs and cats left behind from Katrina. So please, consider adoption, also. There are so many in need.

Kelly, the reason we decided on a puppy is that our 8 year old is so afraid of dogs. We knew if he had one that started out small, he'd be able to handle it better.
Our local humane society had advertised that they had Golden puppies rescued from Katrina but by the time I saw the ad and called, they were all spoken for and there was a waiting list, besides!

BB, Didn't you say this was your first puppy? I think you said a long time ago that you were thinking of getting one, if I remember correctly. I think everyone should have one puppy in their lifetime.
