My Stepson brought over one of those singing Christmas trees. It sings, rocking around the Christmas Tree, and my grandsons have been playing it and dancing and Sammie is dancing right along with them. She loves it and even includes the sound of clapping hands. Just cracks us up!

Parrots are a riot, that's for sure. We have a Sun Conure named Bailey. He hates football. Whenever we watch a game with him in the room he starts screeching. He doesn't like all the crowd noise. So, we have to move him to another room while we watch the game.

I take the dogs to our locally owned pet store to get their nails clipped and they have a parrot there. Daisy is used to it, but Asia freaked out when she saw it the first time and the parrot kept saying HELLO HELLO! Asia just stood there in a totally frozen point.

Watch that tinsel ladies, it is deadly to any animal trying to eat the shiny stuff. It is nearly impossible to swallow and gets stuck in the throat and could choke them...Please be so careful or don't use the stuff, I never do.

www.snopes.com is a good place to read about the veracity of urban legends. I believe this one is false.

Oh NO its isn't and my friend the vet said he has already had 2 cats come it he couldn't save because they had choked on tinsel which he removed after they were dead. My own Reeta got one small half strand from a gift my ex got from work and brought over to show me. It fell on the floor and she licked it up and then couldn't spit it out, luckily I was eating a cheeseburger at the time and gave her a couple big bites and it pushed it down but before that she was gagging and try as I may I couldn't get to it... I love ya kid but this is no legend it is a warning of potential danger to your beloved pets....I don't do legends!
