I think we have a Grinch in my house. I can't find the Christmas candles that I bought to decorate our table 2 years ago. I didn't put them out last year, because we weren't ever home. But I really wanted them this year. I can find the holders, but the candles are nowhere I've looked.
If you were three pillar candles, where would you hide? Help!

My husband labels every single box of decorations. Maybe you have to start doing that?
Since it's sort of a kitchen/dining item could they be in your panrty or cupboard? I keep some there too unbeknownst to my "labeling, neatness man." [ December 13, 2005, 03:23 PM: Message edited by: ladybug ]

LOL LOL You gals are great!
I'm happy to report that hubby found my candles in the box in the closet, where I must have put them last year when my head was on backwards. They now have pride of place on my kitchen table.

Glad to hear he found them for you. Sometimes I do such a good job of straightening out drawers and closets that I later can't remember where I put the darn stuff. Then I wonder if I just imagined I had that blouse with the pumpkins embroidered on the collar or whatever else it is that I can't find.

TVC15, I'll put him to work on it.
Kay B, your shed sounds like our bedroom closet, even after we clean it and straighten it.
Usually I put things away and label them. With all the bad stuff that was going on last Christmas, I just threw everything in a box and put it in the closet. That won't happen again, I hope.

Kay B, Let's clean your shed out - maybe there's money in there!!!! My shed is all in boxes. - moved recently, and altho' there's labels, they lie. I am a very organized person - once in 1975, and once in 1984............But since I'm creative, doesn't that trump organized? I have always thought so , but.....could I have been wrong for 58 years? Hmmmmmm.....I'm just so conflicted.... (and also, I hate to spend time figuring out how to get those really cute little faces to express my feelings - but now I think I must -- drat!!!There goes another 20 minutes..... What's wrong with me today? Well, since I'm working the late shift, and my body simply won't GET this, I'm just plain stupid. And glad to be so. I'm going back to bed - not working today....well, maybe a few more posts........
