Rose, I love the idea of taking one day a week, but is that realistic? Maybe when the nest is empty.

What would everyone do on their day?

I would try to sleep in and lounge in my pj's because that's something I never do. I'm always up and at 'em. Then I'd eat a casual breakfast and read the paper, browse a couple magazines I never take time to read. Next, I'd journal and do my prayer time. I'd probably call a few friends, walk into town for lunch, see a movie, take a nap. I'd eat dinner, lay in the hammock with a book, maybe garden and cut some fresh flowers. Then come inside take a hot bath and go to bed with a book and fall asleep early. This is assuming the whole day is mine and I can't be with hubby.

See. I don't want much. Seems I mentioned sleeping in, taking a nap, laying in the hammock, and going to bed early. Can you tell I have nocturnal college aged kids in my home?

What would everyone else do?

Hi Bonnie,
Everyone has given U great ideas to ponder. I just thought I'd add this. Income property is a good asset because, it helps supplement income; it's a good tax write-off--repairs can B itemized, etc. If you bought an apartment complex, U wouldn't be alone; you could B self-sustaining; other rents would partly pay the mortgage & taxes, etc. Benefits are multiple! Just food 4 thought!
Prayers, blessings, Luv in the Lord
