It's snowing a wee bit this morning and we got a couple inches but nothing like DC and Baltimore. And thank God, it's warmed up to almost 30 degrees. Ross, my duaghter and I just finished shoveling out two cars, the whole driveway and our front walk AGAIN. It's gorgeous, nothing but wind and white. They're referring to it as the snownami. They just announced that unless you're a government vehicle, you can not be on the roads in Baltimore City. It's that dangerous. Fortunately, we still have electricity, but we did put our coolers by the back door just in case we lose power and have to empty our fridge. We also have flashlights all around the house in case we lose power at night. I can't imagine what this snow is costing the city, and then there are all the small business owners who can't even get their doors open. Egads. chatty lady Writer Registered: 02/24/04 Posts: 20267 Loc: Nevada	What has amazed me since living for a three year period in D.C./Maryland, is how horribly ill-kept the roads are, all the roads but the Beltway. I thought Chicago and Indiana were bad until I lived in D.C./Maryland. They have pot holes a small car would disappear in, and they were there when I got there and still there, same holes, when I left. The city government stinks, when they are suppose to have trucks and plows out there helping the people, they don't. Not too far from the Capital building, maybe a mile or so, none of the side streets ever saw a plow the entire time I lived there. That is just wrong!!! And in the Nations capital too!
