LOL, MA! I am watching/listening again on BBC iPlayer. I am re-discovering Neil Sedaka. Until the programmes aired, I did not know that he moved to the UK to re-start and was helped by Elton John. How cool is that?

Elton John is so very talented, and I bet he inspired much of the musical talent we came to appreciate over the years.

I love to go to YouTube sometimes and punch in a favorite artist, just to hear them sing something from "back then."

James Taylor and Paul Williams are two of my all-time greats.

I'm a YouTube fan. For the same reason you mentioned, Josie. Also, some performances which were made for TV are not commercially available. And, I missed a lot of those when I was in school.
