Peg.....if you're 50+ you can also get AAPR Health Care Options. I pay about $25.30 a month for a nice plan. I hav AARP Pharmacy Services,
AARP Eye Health Services, and so much more. You might want to call them for FREE information on whats available to see if it would be of help to you. Call for general information:
1-800-523-5800 many things to choose from. [Wink]

Hi Dotsie...yes, I have tried the IWWG and their reply was..that there is no health insurance in place as of July 1, 2004. I guess they are trying to get another plan, but as of then, its a no go..I am in the process of talking with the Authors Guild, but they are based back east and may not be available to me out here. But I will find out..

Hello,I'm a highschool student, and I'm doing a research paper on the American healthcare system. I found this site while looking for information on how people with chronic illnesses get healthcare coverage. I was wondering if any of you would like to answer some questions, and/or give me stories about your experiences so I could use first-hand information in my paper. If so, please email me at Sweetlolie33@verizon.net
and I could send you a list of questions.
Thank you!
Angela
