I understand about those who can't participate because of the expense. It's sad when just the cost of mailing a card is so high. I have two gifts I have to send out to others in Illinois and I'm dreading the cost for such. They are not really heavy but it will still blow me away.

So, I'm thankful I can still participate again this year in the Christmas Card Exchange. I received one of cards yesterday and was thrilled. It's nice to receive cards from my boomer sisters.

I received a card yesterday too. I was thrilled. Can't explain why but getting that card ignited joy in my heart! Didn't get in on the card exchange last Christmas, for whatever reason. I'm so glad I was able to join in this season. It is soooooooo cooooooool!!!!

I have received two so far and they are beautiful, Dee your card is on my TV under a light and it literally sparkles.

NOW, my cards are going out late this year because I am waiting for them to get here. I ordered them later than ever before. Please know they will be on the way soon.

I am usually early with everything but bit off more than I could chew this year. You'll understand when your cards arrive...

Chatty,
Good luck. Please don't spread yourself too thin. It's easy to
come down with a cold this time of year. There are a couple
nasty bugs going around. I got a sparkly card from Dee too.
It was my first boomer card and I love it! God Bless!

Oh Chatty, my cards will be later also! But I've received two already and it hasn't disappointed. I get so excited. I even run my hand over the precious written words. It's hard to explain but this is always so special to me!! It's as though I can "hear" them!

I've gotten two cards and they are so lovely. I love getting cards from our boomer sisters.

I worked on mine today and hopefully they will be out in a few days, so ladies please know they will be there.

Take care of yourself Chatty - I'm just getting over a cold or something, I hope.

Blessings to all.

I've received two cards and today my "mail person" brought me my mail to the door. She said....and I quote, "Who is Dolly?"

I had to laugh. The mail woman use to bring TRIXIE treats all the time and Trixie loved her. I told her when Trixie died and she was so sad. She encouraged me to get another pet. I said no way...so she said when she saw the envelope addressed to me AND to Dolly, she just KNEW I had a new one.

She couldn't wait to see Dolly...Oh Lordy...now Dolly truly is spoiled.

My cards were lovely and so sweet. You gals warm my heart!

I have two already - this is so exciting. The cards somehow express the personality of the sender, and it's always fun to see the cards and the written messages. Like some of you, I'm a bit late sending my cards this year, but they will be on their way soon!

yonuh, your comment about the card expressing the personality of the sender was so true when we did this last year. Looking forward to getting cards again.

I still haven't done mine, but will get to them one night this week.
