You ladies are sooooooooooooooooo funny. I got my morning chuckle right here and what a way to start my day...thinking of nose, chin, and lip hairs...wooohoooo!!! I also have that problem...usually it's with a few very dark hairs that like to grow at an unusally fast pace out of my chin and I don't notice it until I'm in the car checking my lipstick... I stare in horror at the black tentacles danging from my chin...with not a tweezer in sight. Then I smack my husband on the arm and ask him why he didn't tell me? Surely he can see them? Somewhere in my European ancestory we Scottish must have been very hairy because ever since puberty I've had an upper lip hair problem. I bleached, I plucked (and screamed) and finally said to heck with it and shaved it off and have not regretted that decision and continue to do so to this day. I pluck everything else but find the razor does great for the upper lip. Waxing was never an option for me....do not like pain...it was all I could do to tweeze my eyebrows.

Hannelore, my dear, The dear Princess amoung us has started a fuzz hating trend! Your little peach fuzz on your face, the cheeks, etc, is there for natural shading to your face. It highlights your cheekbones and without it, your face would look flat! Get rid of: eye brow messes mustashe's beards, clip nose hairs, and love the rest of the hair on your face, for goodness sake! I'm going to be surrounded by wax addicts! dancer, who loves her fuzz shadows! LOL.

Sandpiper, how did you know to shave before your mother told you? Until that dress rehearsal with the tights and the swirling leg hairs showing through the tights, I did not even know women had to shave. My mother taught me. I was quite dismayed to think of the things girls had to do. Shave the legs, underarms, use sanitary napkins, wear garters and girdles and bras, and then, to top it off, pluck eyebrows. Who made these rules? Meredith, you're not supposed to shave your legs when you are going through chemo! Any nick can cause infection. I was sent to a specialist hair dresser to have the remaining strands on my head shaved, as that speciallist (trained by some cancer agency) used a special buzz razer with a guard so as not to make a nick. I hope you never have to know that again. Hey, what if we let it all go? Then we can look like Grateful Dead hippie chicks. Not...!

Meredith, we are medical clones. I get heat migraines too. I was a walking migraine during cancer. How can it be that we have so many similarities, including writing, poetry, creativity? Were we separated at birth? Anno, is that the secret to good skin? Stay away from the mirror! L, PL
