I loved the Gaudi work in Barcelona especially Parc Guell (sp?). I have distinct memories of long lizards made with brightly colored tiles. And the late night dining -- yummy! Did you go to the church, Anno?

Anno sounds just wonderful. After reading your post I went downstairs to my Hubby and said I know where I want to go on the day we give our grandchild back to her parents. You won't believe this...he said "Barcelona?" Gosh I must have had Spain all over my face. I love hearing other people's travel stories, and love the way you describe your trip. more more more.

Casey, I think you have the spelling correct, and yes, I loved this work, too. We took the tour buses around the city, and I really enjoyed being able to see all the architeture. I usually don't take city tours, but I highly recommend it for Barcelona.

Hannelore, you are going to Barcelona! Oh, can I come along please? You will love it there.

No, Casey, I am not a church goer, so did not attend any services. However, we spent a few nights in a restored monastary in Andalusia, and I found myself meditating quite easily there. I found the whole country very spiritual and was one of the reasons that I truly loved this country.
