We got started on this in another thread and there is some disagreement on the best movie ever.

Here are the true best movies ever... just to clear up any misunderstanding. [Wink]

1. Gone With The Wind.
2. City of Angels
3. Fried Green Tomatoes

What do you think???

oooooohhhh...I like this game...are we limited to three? If so, here are my three

1. GWTW
2. The Quiet Man
3. The Ghost and Mrs. Muir

I'm basing this on my favorite movies and I asked myself..."If you only had three choices, and these choices were the only movies you could ever see again, what would they be?"

That would be much easier for me too, Jaw-Jaw. I love movies something terrible, (books more, though) and it's hard just to pick three.

I have to admit, even though I have chosen some chick flicks, I don't always care for that kind of movie. For example, I HATED Titanic. I gave it two ickey-poo's.

I hated the song from Titanic! They played it so much on the radio, it got ingrained into my head and I thought I would need to get it surgically removed!

I forgot to mention that I love every movie that I've ever seen with Humphrey Bogart in it! Just love his voice!

No tomato throwing allowed.

Of all the mention movies I've only seen Titanic. I read To Kill A Mockingbird. I need to get my act together.

You all keep posting and we'll see how long it takes for me to recognize another movie.

My favorite fun movie is Mrs. Doubtfire. Was that the name of it? Robin Williams?

For me there are categories of favorite movies.

For instance: most memorable- The Wizard of Oz.
I can still remember the very first time I saw it and all the feelings and fears. Incredible.

I loved African Queen-Dad and I would watch that together on TV, also the Bridge over the river Kwai.

Mr. Holland's Opus hit a special chord (no Pun) when I saw it.

I went to see the movie with Bruce Willis and the little boy that saw dead people. It was fantastic. I had no intro to it at all. I just needed a Mommy day away and went tot he movies by myself. No expectations. Blew my socks off. Probably not in the list of the greatest movies of all time but a surprise all the same without the hype.

Hitchcok's movies stand out for me. Along with Bogie.

My top three:Boy this is hard

1. Wizard of Oz
2. African Queen
3. Maybe, White Christams

But I loved Dirty Dancing.

Lynn
