I had monovision lasik surgery yesterday so my brain and eyes are trying to adjust. Just letting you know if I don't post much as they try to figure this new vision out.

When you're feeling a little better, tell us more about it. Was the surgery so you don't have to wear glasses?

Hi, Dianne: Do come back to tell us about it when you can. Tell us more about the procedure itself i.e. how long it takes and the after care. I have been contemplating lasik surgery but have not gotten the nerve to explore further. I have been wearing eyeglasses since I was 8 and would welcome the alternative.

I'm with the others Dianne, very interested in hearing about all of this once you've had a bit of time to heal.
Don't know if it hurts but wishing that you feel better soon!

Dotise ,
Wanted to email you I went to a new eye doctor and he told me I have cataracts on both eyes that is why I have another big vision change and sending me to a retina specialtist becease my retina is strength . I have an appointment in a couple of weeks and want another opinion after this . Sometimes I wonder if this is from my cyst goiter I had long ago that I had surgery from . Trying not to worry .
Diane I hope you feel better soon.

Not sure what all this means , Any help

Renee

Dianne, I believe it will take a little while to adjust. Relax with no eye strain.

Lola, MOH (my other half) wore glasses since he was a small boy and he had surgery about 2 years ago. No more glasses unlesss he is reading.

Renee, my Mom had cataract surgery, They did one eye at a time. She didn't have any goiter problems.

Both of my parents have had cataracts. They told me it is a normal part of again. Dad had trouble with one surgery, but the other three, for both of them, went off without a hitch. They are loving how they are seeing right now.
