Tell us more about the procedure itself i.e. how long it takes and the after care. I have been contemplating lasik surgery but have not gotten the nerve to explore further. I have an appointment in a couple of weeks and want another opinion after this . Sometimes I wonder if this is from my cyst goiter I had long ago that I had surgery from . Trying not to worry . Diane I hope you feel better soon. Lola, MOH (my other half) wore glasses since he was a small boy and he had surgery about 2 years ago. No more glasses unlesss he is reading. Renee, my Mom had cataract surgery, They did one eye at a time. Anno Member Registered: 09/15/05 Posts: 4434 Loc: Minneapolis Minnesota	Both of my parents have had cataracts. They told me it is a normal part of again. Dad had trouble with one surgery, but the other three, for both of them, went off without a hitch. They are loving how they are seeing right now.
