Of course, I don't know if it ever snows in Jerusalem, and I am aware that Biblical scholars doubt Jesus was literally born on December 25th.

Isn't it true that some who study this stuff suggest that the date of December 25th was chosen to coincide with pagan celebrations that already existed?

(Essentially a plan to convert pagans to Christianity by making it easy to transfer their year-end celebration plans to Christian worship.)

I don't think it matters exactly when Christ was born, as long as we continue to have a time to celebrate His birth.
