New words: tulips, earth, squirrel, path

Grateful I am for a walk in the park,
WB 'n me and a lab that barks.
Pup sees a squirrel and chases it for fun,
Then she spots a woodchuck,
And down the path they both run.

Trees are budding,
Plantlife's startin' to sprout,
Everywhere there's new birth,
Grasses are springing out.

Tulips wave howdie 'n pretty the land,
The Daffodils' bright yellow,
Give tulips a hand.
Spring's here, spring's here,
Earth is renewed, no doubt,
That's what spring flowers,
Always seem to shout.

Neighborhood friends,
You'll see in their yards,
Visiting o'er property fences,
'stead of washin' their cars.

Whatever the reason,
It's an outdoors season,
To see neighbors gossip 'n chat,
In the yard, on the lawn,
Outside 'tis where it's at.

New words, old words
