Owe, tow, quick, classic

Here’s a classic case of a bad day.
It started at the dock of the bay.

I wanted to take a quick skinny dip
Before the sun revealed my naked back flip.

Swimming along, I held my boat in tow;
in case I felt queasy, or my energy low.

I saw my mean lender, to whom I owe,
A bundle of money, yeah I mean dough.

He stood on the dock in his three piece suit,
And cried, “You’re gonna drown, or give me your loot!”

“I don’t have any money!” I sputtered from the shore.
“But you can have my boat, and that’s even worth more!”

I tossed the rope from my dinghy onto the peer,
The man jumped in and into the sunrise disappeared.

But that’s not the worst, I’m afraid to utter,
I left my dry clothes right next to the rudder.

New words:
Cancel, blush, forever, stigma
