Many a mountain 'tis a nasty climb,
And, as in any rough sport, they ever report,
The hopeful 'n strong keep pushin' along,
To reach the crest of the height,
In record-breaking time.

Training to be a climber,
Is a grueling thing,
Athletes do what's required to prepare,
For the next climb they're willing to dare.
They'll throw coins in a fountain,
Then wish to succeed,
And overexert bodies or even bleed.

There's not a climber who gets a break,
All ascend upward, to the top, for goodness sake.
They'll huff 'n puff, faster each time,
Aspiring to be the cream of the crop,
Has never been known as a crime!

New words:
assume, webb, pilfer, deceit
