Oh what memories yesterdays have been,
Long, long ago and way back when.
I recollect with lovers,
Strollin' white, sandy shores,
on an endless seaside or waterways galore,
Young and carefree, we cruised main drags of town,
In a topless car with warm breezes blowin'
all 'round.

There was a dance of sorts,
At an outside rink,
Arranged by a church,
They called it a group iceskate,
I think.

And I remember sox hops, in days of ole,
Romance filled the air,
And love consumed the soul.

New words:
Renew, beginning, chance, instill
