Does anyone use this? I'm considering, but would love to hear from someone who uses it. Thank you.

I announced my first book on prweb, along with other free press release sites - I think if you pay for the "premium" service (which I didn't) you get much better coverage and exposure. It's hard to quantify the value of these press release services....I would think a good PR person, agent, or publicity person has better contacts than these "free" press release sites though. I only went this route because I don't HAVE an agent or PR person! LOL

Paying definitely makes a difference. I've heard $80 recommended. I also know that the person who did a PR piece for my publishing company did $200. That piece has now had close to 100,000 hits since its launch last December.

It's something I'm looking at as I develop my coaching marketing plan and plan to put in my budget. I think consistency is the key (i.e. once a month) and however much you pay. People do look at them.

I did the cheap one $40. Did get a lot of hits on it, still am, but don't know if it translates into book sales or not.

Another good resource is Authors Den, I love my website there!
