Thank to Kathy Ryan's suggestion, we are launching a new forum. Here is her post about what she is looking for. Others were in agreement, so let's find a name for the forum.

I wanted to post something, but wasn't sure where to put it. It is really about looking forward to the future. So many of us are "reinventing ourselves" and really looking forward to our "second adulthood". I would love to read about women who have succeeded in this endeavor, or women who are really looking forward to doing so. I have read some threads regarding this, but it seems to deserve a whole section of it's own. What do you think? Or if I am overlooking a section that focuses on this, please guide me toward the right place. I know that I am really looking forward to my future--my second adulthood. I would love to share our stories regarding this topic.

I LOVE the "FUTURE PERFECT" one. Even the "Redefining Life" is a great one. Oh gosh...how will Dotsie ever choose? These are all good ones and apply to the subject at hand. We are definitely reinventing ourselves, starting over, looking forward and going onward. Boy, I'm glad I'm not the one choosing! HA!

I had to reread all these as I was certain I said why not call it STARTING OVER because JJ said someone else said that. I said it after seeing starting overs post about what she was doing. At any rate I'm lost now we have had so many calls for names, what is this one for again??

Lynnie (good to hear your voice again!!!), I couldn't help thinking that since we're in the beefiest time of our lives, satisfying those sizzling passions and burning hungers we may not have paid attention to before, we could call ourselves the "BBQ R.I.B.S."

What a cute idea! I love it. R.I.B.S. That is so US! (That's "us" not US for my Canadian friends! ha!)....I love it Lynnie...Gosh, MS D is gonna have a hard time choosing this one! Everybody has been so creative. Oh and thank you Lynnie for the compliment...trust me when I say I have a friend who is a makeup artist...I usually scare small children.

Ha, Jawjaw...and I thought I was going to have you make this decision since you are now a member of the BWS/NABBW work force. Maybe you'll get to pick! This is a tough one.

This place is like a soap opera. I mean that in a good way. I just picked up where I left off! Sometime, somewhere, I might post about my hibernation.

Is it too late to modify? R.I.B.S. = Reinventing the Identity of Boomer Selves or S for Souls or Reinventing the Inner Boomer Self.

They are all great suggestions, I like Blooming Boomers and I love Plan B, because there are always alternative pathways in life.....it is so exciting to be part of a generation which has the opportunity to live such long lives and to change direction as we desire. Our latest thought is to work towards being able to go and work in England for say 12 months and then we could spend weekends etc travelling in Europe. But after chatting to all these wonderful Americans, I'm thinking we might need to make a jaunt to America to live there for a while as well. Just such a great time to be alive and have so many opportunities to decide amongst!!
