Me too! I just bought a table for my patio. I already had black bistro chairs and decided the practical thing to do would be just get a table and use the chairs I already have. The table is a white scrolly (is that a word?) iron and I think it will look good together. I don't like things to be real matchy anyway. Now I'm obsessed with finding a reasonalbly priced umbrella that I like. I've also been putting down mulch and planting a few flowers.
I'm taking a week off in May to finish. I want to get it all done before it gets too hot. Maybe I'll get to enjoy this summer instead of working all the time.

My table was delivered today and I love it! It looks great with the black chairs. I'm having my son and family over for dinner on Sunday and hopefully, we'll be able to eat outdoors.
I may just put it in my kitchen in the fall. My kitchen is red, black and white with stainless steel appliances. The white table would give it an extra punch. I'm always designing.........I missed my calling, I think.
I wish I could have all you ladies over for an afternoon tea. We could wear hats and have a so very civilized afternoon tasting exotic desserts, drinking tea or your favorite wine.

Planted butterfly bushes today along with four planters for the front porch. Next will be the planters on the back porch and the veg/herb garden. I've got tomatoes, peppers, basil (three types) and other herbs. Still need to get more veggies and plant sunflowers but it's getting there.
Planters at the driveway are full and looking good. I'd like to get some hanging baskets for the barn but they need watering twice a day...too much time!
I found a metal candlelabra and hung that on the front porch along with some votive candle jars that hang along the porch...very festive.
In the warmer months, we eat on either one of the porches and it's lovely. Usually in the mornings, it's on the back porch and afternoons, the front porch.
I know it's summer because the birds won't eat at the feeder..they would much rather eat God's provision now.

Hi, Someone asked about red Coleus and photosynthesis or chlorophyll. I wasn't sure the question was answered so will try here. I asked my husband while out walking. He was a junior high Science teacher. He told me the red Coleus was probably a red pigment but on the inside of the plant its still green so it will still act like a green plant. This is the shortened version of his explanation. Thanks, Maggie

Hi JJ, Its nice to pop in once in a while. Yes, I am still at the Craft Shop but am sharing a space with another lady so I only work 1 day a month. Its great to see you here too and read all about your accomplishments. Congratulations. Things are keeping me busy so I don't get here often but pop in and catch up every once in a while. Its wonderful to see how this site has grown and is growing. Hugs to you, Maggie
