My daughter just called me to tell me that she took a pregnancy test and it turned positive.

She's scared and excited. I am too. This will be our first grandbaby. Woo-hoo!

Vicki, the best of luck to you, your daughter and entire family. I am waiting for my daughter to deliver our 1st grandchild on or before Saturday, May 20th. The doctor will induce her by the 20th if it doesn't happen sooner. We don't what sex it is, but we don't care! The balloons will be up on our mailbox by next week! I will keep you posted. Everyone says this is the most fun in life. I am glad you will be experiencing it too.

Yes, Dotsie, this is the daughter that lives here in Florida and got married last November.

I'm really scared for her. I don't know if this is such a great time in their lives to have a baby. And, I'm such a worrywart. She's just a baby herself still. She's 23.

Vicki, let me tell you right now to get a spoon.

Why?

Because when my grandbeauty hugs me around the neck and says, "hey gan maw," I could eat her with a spoon.

You just wait...there is nothing like it. I even like her better than Oreo's....and now I have TWO grandbeauties!

Vicki, believe it or not I am jealous! Neither of my sons are married yet and so grandkids are not even a thought. I told them I was worried that they may wait until I am too old to pick them up!

I have 7 grandkids ages 2 to 12 and we are so looking forward to more in the next few years. You will have a blast!
