Lilac...you said above that these 3 of your grandchildren 'are always begging to come and stay with me', obviously they trust and care about you, and know you care about them. Is it at all possible for them to live with you? Even for a short period until some adult in their lives gets it together ? Would the other grandparents be willing to accept sharing the responsibility with you?

I think this child needs to have a check-up by a doctor to make sure she's free from anything harmful.

This poor girl never had parents, what can I say?

Lilac, please stay in her life and give her guidance. Talk to her as much as possible.

lilac, your granddaughter is so lucky to have you in her life! i hope you can find a way to help her. my strongest feeling when reading this thread is one of URGENCY.

a 12 yr. old having sex is in immediate danger of so many ugly things. my prayers are with her and you as you search for ways to help her.
