How about the person who comes up with the best "theme" for your convention? How about the person who comes up with the best PLACE to hold it...how about the person who has the most REGAL nickname (hehe)or how about the person who brings me toliet paper this morning...hm....now where did I put that newspaper....

But seriously folks, how about the person who gives you the best three sentences about about what this forum means or has done for them? AND brings me some toliet paper? [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

No, Dotsie, I never thought Iwould be communicating to people I had never met. But aren't there a lot of things we thought would never happen or not happen to us? The list is so long both positive and negative but both make up the character(s) that we are.

For the record, 5 years ago I wouldn't have recognized a personal computer if I tripped over it on the sidewalk. So yes, all things are possible.

Never thought I could win! Surprise. I hadn't realized it's been a year already. I also have an anniversary on the 1st of November, 23 years of marriage. Several times I wasn't sure we'd make it this far. When we got married we said it was for 50 years, both sets of my grandparents were married 50 years, my parents celebrated their 54 Nov. 3rd, and my husbands parents have been married 41, and his real Mom and Dad for 20 when she died of cancer, so his dad has been married for 61 years! Anyway I married him for better or worse, so when we hit worse, I new it could only get better. And, I'm glad to say things are better. Now I'm working on great! Thanks for doing this Dotsie!

Swimbo, glad you won something.

Also, I love hearing about people who've been married for all those years. There are some people in our parent's generation who could have walked away at different times but chose to take the good wih the bad. They definitely had that stick-to-it-ness.

Curious to know if the women had been more independent if they would have made those same choices?
