Welcome EVERY SINGLE NEW BOOMER! There are so many of you I thought you'd allow me just to welcome ALL of you together in one message....

Junebug - JUNE is my middle name as well - named after my Aunt (Dad's sister). My Dad didn't call me Junebug BUT that was his nickname for his sister.

Again ladies - welcome to the fabulous forum. There's a lot of interesting topics here to participate in - so have fun exploring.

Alphawoman has always been my screen name since joining AOL. My boss began calling me this name because I was the only woman in an all male department. I loved it...as we all do when given a great nick name, so I've always used it.

Alphawoman - what a great story on how you got your nickname. Guess your boss knew who REALLY ran things around there huh?

As for nicknames...my husband calls me "PJ" and my parents both had nicknames for me but since they are no longer around, the "nickname" thing has sort of disappeared. Jawjaw (the Queen of the forum here...LOL) has a nickname for me though come to think of it - but I'm not tellin' what it is!!!!! Some things just plain should remain a MYSTERY (and I know about that since I write mysteries).

Pam, the suspense is killing me. I think I'm going to PM the queen. [Razz] Alpha, great name. DO you still work in an all female office?

Hey Pam, maybe you could incorporate this Mystery nickname into your next mystery novel (which, BTW, I'm anxiously awaiting)...and then have a contest to see who can guess what it is.

You gals are so SWEEEEEEET! Dotsie - if The Queen spills the beans on that "mystery nickname" then I'll have to take her oreos away!!!

Chatty and Eagle - I'm working on it - I'm working on it!!!!! (and thanks for being impatient - that makes me feel great...LOL)
