We are using wiseworker and I really like the site. There seems to be no face-to-face contact or even telephone contact. All job hunting is done via electronic, and both employers and employees have to know their "keywords" to get a match, kind of like e-harmony and other on-line dating services.

Glad to hear you like it. Do you need to talk with soemone? I know Amy so I might be able to help you out a bit.

Also, I'm sure he's doing this, but if not, he should be combing Craigslist daily for your local area.

Yes, we need to talk to someone, anyone. The phone does not ring. The resume gets caught up in electronic vast voids. He is not a person, but a keyword. We have contacted 4 recruiters, and only one even bothered to return his email. When he (the recruiter) figured out how old my h is, the recruiter stopped calling.

I never heard before about keywords one has to know to get a foot in the door. I can't imagine looking for work now with things the way they are. Are you guys willing to relocate from Colorado?

Chatty, there's a whole new way of looking for a job, and it's so impersonal. It's all about the internet. We love Colorado, but we are willing to re-locate.
