Finally went to the doctor for my neck pain and they took X-rays. I leave in a few minutes to get a cat scan. She thinks I fractured my neck. I'm wearing a neck brace. This is just awful and I hurt so bad.

Oh my God...in the fall or when you smacked into the wall and the table? This is awful. I'm praying now...

Just a thought here...if Dianne's cat scan is bad enough that they keep her in the hospital, or that she's bed-ridden for awhile, how would we know? Dianne, I hope you can feel our prayers of love and concern rippling into your heart tonight...

Is anyone here in a position to contact Dianne and find out if she's okay?

I just sent her an email. I'm wondering the same thing. I was just offering up prayers for her.

Thanks ladies. I have injured a disk in my neck. I'm taking some serious steroids for the inflammation and still hurt really bad. Had a rough night with the constant, pointed throbbing and the cat scan sure wasn't a walk on the beach, having to hold still while in pain. At least I don't have to wear that awful neck brace.

So, we'll see if the steroids work. Doctor said I had degenerative disks, whatever that means, but I've done some serious damage to one. He had a strong British accent and I had trouble understanding what he said, that mixed with pain.

I might have to go see an orthopedic surgeon if the drugs don't work. Who knows what that will entail. Plus, I have to get on a plane to AZ next Wednesday and I think it might be the flight from hell.

Thank you for caring. It helps a lot. I'm just so miserable I could scream.

Dotsie, if I could find a position that was comfortable I would rest. I just pace because it's nonstop pain. Come on steroids!

Yep, it's the wedding trip. I can't be miserable at my son's wedding. I just can't. And, I can't be doped up on pain meds either.
