Well, ladies, it looks like my Cafe will be put on hold for now. The lady who owns the new Catholic bookstore, asked me friday night if I'd like to replace one of her part timers, who gave 2 weeks' notice. I said "sure". Well she called me this morning and her other part timer quit today, no notice, so she asked if I could start next week. I went down, got the key, she showed me stuff, I will "shadow" someone this weekend, and I start tuesday! She's going away for a few weeks, so I'll be on my own (with her cell number if I get stuck). I can bring the little ones when I need to.
I'm very excited but I just realized I better do our taxes soon as things will get nuts in a week.

Think of it - I'll get paid to be around books and pictures of Jesus!! I died and went to heaven...

And this is probably a god-send if you think about it all. God, in His wisdom, has provided you with a place similar to what you have in mind so that you can learn the ropes and see if it is really what you want. Also, ways to improve, or tips to take home with you...all sorts of wisdom to be gained from this experience!

Thanks everone, for the enthusiastic support and for affirming my thoughts that this will lead to opening the Cafe in the near future!

I was reminded yesterday, that God has 3 different responses to our requests - Yes, No or Wait. I'll be waiting, while doing something I enjoy and helping with the bills! I will be able to make more contacts this way and will be spreading the word about my project.

Well I'm off to my first day at work!! This is my first job outside of my home and my husband's business, that I've had in 25 years!! Yikes.
