Last night, Hubby and I went to see a Nokia concert. Anybody heard of this before? I never had…it was our first.

It took place in the gigantic Muenich Olympic stadium. The interesting thing about the concert was it was a mixture between classical and pop music. We heard a breathtaking version of Tchaikovsky 1812, and afterwards Tears For Fears and 10cc performed. So did Dennis DeYoung. Remember him?

What was so cool is that thousands from the audience, held their cell phones up high. From our seats we could see the little blue screens…like thousands of blue stars, or Ufo's. Oh, and among other great artists, Harlem Gospel singers belted out their songs. Oh man, everyone was on their feet singing and clapping…it was goose bump time.

If a Nokia concert should ever come near you, - try to go. We had to reserve our tickets a year in advance!

EW, I googled Nokia concert and am a little confused. Do differnt musicians play at different venues? It sounds like so much fun. I'd love to know more.

One night last week, Ross and I went to see Amy Grant and her hubby at the Lyric Theater in the city. It was their Christmas concert so they sang and played many songs written by them, and lots of the traditional songs with their little spin on them. It was a lovely way to reminisce about Christmas's past while listening to the lyrics, holding hands, tearing dripping, then laughter, some singing along, and counting my blessings.

Amy Grant is even better in person. She was so real. I felt like she would fit right in here at BWS. I loved how she took off her heels midway through the evening and sang and played her guitar in her bare feet. When exiting the stage, she picked them up and waved while holding them in her hands. How cool is that?

Dotsie, do you mean different stages? No, it all took place on one stage. The huge orchestra played their classical music, and when they were finished, then the pop stars came on. It was like zapping through radio channels. You never knew what was up next.

Seeing Amy Grant with Ross sounds heart warming. I checked her out on youtube, beautiful voice.

EW, I meant different musicians at each concert, or do they all travel together?

Amy Grant has a lovely voice and her lyrics are over the top. She released two new songs this year:

I Need a Silent Night, which she wrote for all the women who deliver Christmas to their families.

Baby it's Christmas which she wrote with her hubby. It's about the moment on Christmas Eve when everything's finished and you are with your honey by the tree.

Both are beautiful.
