We FINALLY got me a digital camera. Anyone have one of these?

DH and the store clerk promised me it's simple to operate. I need to know the TRUTH from a fellow boomer!! Is it really simple to use??

I don't have that one, but I have one. They're simple to use, but what takes time is learning how to download store, print, add to sites, etc.

Have you taken any pictures yet?

Hi Di

I don't have that one either and I do have a digital camera. I don't know about advanced features and I do know I was able to get pictures right away and was even able to get a little baby video without much effort.

I bought the thing right before going to a training bootcamp and thought I was being soooooooo smart by taking along the manual to read in the airpot. Turns out, I took the Spanish version! Not much help when I remember about 4 words of Spanish from my high school days.

This is easy......I use IPhoto on my Mac. You can resize and save into Albums.

If I can do it, it MUST be easy! And yep...taken lots of pics already! See the ones I posted here.....the Kiosk, Goats, My Pamper "Lime" Gift Set, the little girl baking set and apron etc.

Watch out ladies! I've got a camera and it's loaded!!

I'm using Google's Picasa to manage and organize photos into "albums" that can be uploaded and shared...either as a link to specified people or as a public album.

I just found out yesterday that I can use the new version of Picasa to combine one or more photos together with a recording and create a YouTube video. Where the heck was that when I recorded my story of past lives in September? Arghgh...grin.
