I couldn't find JJ's (couldn't remember a key word), but here's a more recent post concerning enlarging print:
Quote:
Note: some time back, JJ shared instructions on how to manually increase your screen view temporarily and without changing your screen resolution settings... it's done by holding your keyboard's Control button down while moving your mouse wheel (the wheel located between the right and left click buttons on a mouse) forward or backward - forward for enlarging; backward for downsizing.
I learned another way... this is just an FYI, because Dots had her tech set the font at a larger default size.

Again, this is just sharing learned info ------ you might need it on another web site or blog...

Instead of Control/Mouse Wheel, use Control/+ (located to the left of the Backspace key on standard keyboards) for enlarge and Control/- for downsize.

I found JJ's post about enlarging print, while searching for something else, humlan... she probably explains it more understandably...

Move it away from you, the type gets smaller, move it toward you, LARGER!

My mistake... I thought she was referring to reading the print of other members' posts.

humlan, see if this helps.

type the following bracketed string in front of (before) your text, but leave out the underscores (_) within the brackets:

[_color:blue_]

you can type any color you choose in place of 'blue'

then after (following) the text you wish to show in color, type the following bracketed string without the underscores (_) within the brackets:

[_/color_]

***reason for the underscores - I had to put them in or the codes would color my post, instead of show as code strings for you.
