I recently heard of a NEW site for writers being promoted to the hilt by its founder Jeff Miller of Wizards of Words. The site is called:

You can promote yourself like crazy, your books, your websites, whatever you sell or wantever services you offer. I listed BWS and several other sites I belong to. Please stop in and have a look see, and tell Jeff Chatty sent you. NO I don't get paid....wish I did! Its filled with various topics, a nice looking site and he is really strict as to the nut jobs not being permitted.

Chatty, you are always on the lookout for us writers and it is really appreciated. May I also share something or a site that I find useful as a speaker? I hope you don't mind?

Mike Moore is a great cartoonist and says it better than I can. He is also a speaker and offers much to us whippersnappers who are coming into the trade. Much like Lori. Can you ever have too many mentors? I think not.

Mike is a motivational speaker, writer, cartoonist...wearer of many hats.

Anyway, I have just bought two things. Both are from Mike Moore and I'll let you all know how educational they are. While I can't tell you if they are worth the moola until I read them, I CAN tell you that you won't be sorry if you sign up for his newsletters. He isn't "IN YOUR FACE," if you know what I mean (aren't we ALL tired of that?) and he doesn't try and sell you the moon or cram your inbox with stuff. I just spent a great deal of time on the phone with him. I just love his style of speaking. Course, then again, he is a humorist, so what's not to love, am I right?

What I like about Mike is his honesty. He doesn't try to be the answer to all of your problems, or feed you unnecessary or unwanted "things" just to make a sell. He truly DOES want to help. How honest is that? You have to love that in a professional.

Anyway, if you sign up, tell Mike I sent you. NOTHING in it for me other than the satisfaction of knowing you will learn something from him, at the very least, you'll get some laughs.

How could I mind JJ, you are always doing the same thing. I plan to sign up for Mike's newsletter and hope all our members will take advantage of the Author Society as well and PROMOTE THEMSELVES, heck you get nowhere being shy, right??
