I have several lovely baby afghans made and resady to go, plus I bought gorgeous lavendar, powder blue and peppermint pink baby yarn and will be making one each of those colors.

Each night now I spend working on Dancers afghan, its midnight black with charcoal, grey and white multi colors intertwined. Today I got an order form Mountain Ash and her fall color request will be perfect for some yarn I just saw. This is almost as much fun as the phone calls I have been making. Anyway I have some beautiful baby afghans if anyone needs a gift...

One great thing is when your hands are busy at night while watching TV, your mouth stays empty, too much trouble jumping up to eat something...I call it the Craft Diet!!!

Chatty...that's wonderful. Are you crocheting or knitting? I'm crocheting my MIL an afghan for next Christmas...I want to handmake my gifts for next year...well, I'm going to try.

Dee, I crochet, haven't got a clue how to knit. I would love to learn someday if I live that long...lol
I can't follow a pattern but can see a design in my head, I follow it and thats the way my one of a kind afghans come out, both the adult lapghans and the gorgeous baby blankie afghans. I am nearly done with one for Dancer, maybe tomorrow...

It's all I can do to follow a pattern...I used to be able to crochet doilies and intricate patterns but as I've aged so has my ability to follow complicated instructions. I think my last of concentration has a lot to do with it.
