When the kids were little I always made Easter cupcakes.

All you do is use white icing, color the coconut green for grass and sprinkle atop the icing, put a couple mini jelly beans on top, and use string licorice for a little handle by poking an end on either side of the cupcake.

Thought you might want to make them for the grandkids, or your own little ones!

Hey, I invented them years ago. Promise!

My sister has always made the bunny cake. Can you tell we like desserts in our family?

Have you ever tried jello easter eggs. Get some egg molds and make different flavors of jello. Pour into molds and place in the fridge. When firm pop open egg mold and whalla colorful jello easter eggs. I serve them with a dollop of whipped cream on the top. Kids love them...

I ordered my Jello Easter Egg molds from Kraft 3/14 -- they guaranteed they would be here by Easter. As they had not yet arrived today, I called their customer service number. They could not find my order. I was on the phone with them for 38 minutes -- I offered to pay the extra $10 for rush delivery which in their ads said could be done by COB 3/23 (today)for delivery before Easter. She said it was too late! I am so disappointed!! I really wanted to try them. Kind of down on Kraft at the moment.

I don't blame you rallygirl. That sucks. I know this isn't any consolation at the moment, but whenever I talk to someone and order something, I get a confirmation of some kind, even if they tell me they don't give them, I at least get the person's name. That way you have proof. I'm sorry you won't have them for Easter.

Me too and that really ticks me off. JJ is right you need proof of everything now a days. I have a suggestion go to the craft store and buy some plastic eggs that come apart in the center, drill a small hole in the top of one and fill with the jello but spray first with cooking spray, lightly. Stand up in the fridge in an empty egg container. OH, and the important thing is to always add an 'extra envelope' of knox gelatin powder to the jello mixture for firmer non-fall apart eggs. This should work!! [Big Grin]

Thanks to chatty lady and jj for your moral support and suggestions. I'm off to the craft store as soon as I leave the office! Happy Easter to all!
