And Ashley Judd is being mocked. She's thinking about going into politics. God love her!

And California Parks employees have been hiding $54 million dollars they say.

Rove must think she is a grave threat since they put out that commercial against her. She hasn't even said she's running. Pretty disgusting already.

I never was a D. Morris fan. Think he bloviates more than anything else. Ashley Judd might be a threat in Mitch McConnell's place, but the lady has to decide what she's doing first. And how can a Park's employee hide $54 million dollars. That seems way out there. You know it isn't any wonder kids look the world and get confused about what's right 'n wrong. IMHO!

Jabber, I don't know anything about the alleged theft mentioned above, but we had a similar story here in "my neck of the woods."

The comptroller for the City of Dixon, Illinois has now pleaded guilty to stealing over $50 million from the city in order to fund her horse-breeding business. The theft occurred over a number of years.

This story is mind boggling -- seems like the stuff of legends or fiction. Apparently she was able to get away with it because as Comptroller, she was the one who opened the mail. And I'm guessing that she was able hide her larceny for so long because in a small city, as Dixon IL is, there aren't a lot of other staff around to provide for checks and balances.

And yes, this is the same Dixon, IL which was formerly most well-known for being Ronald Reagan's boyhood home.

is let go, the State of California discovers a surplus of these funds. What gets me is that California is supposed to be broke, etc.; and not to know where $54 million has gone, seems excessive. I should've said - misallocated as opposed to steal: sorry about that.

Saw Karl Rove on O'Reilly last night. Rove and his "group" are upset with Ashley Judd because of some past phraseology she used and are on a mission to use her own words against her? They must feel threatened by Ashley, as yonuh said.

I don't literally feel sorry for [censored] Morris because he knew what he was doing, but in a way I do think he has had to pay a price for Fox's directives before the election. It's all well and good to be the more conservative station, but conservative or liberal, people need to deal in facts.

Morris has said he was busy predicting a Romney landslide -- as did many other commentators on Fox and other places -- because he felt that's what the viewers wanted to hear. And he's right. That was their storyline -- only it did not reflect the polls. He did the job they asked him to do and, when Fox wound up with egg on its face, got fired.
(I would say exactly the same thing regarding a more liberal channel. Deal in facts.)
